I had a lot of fun and realized quickly that I use way too much tension the last time I tried to practice this solo. Having the side by side help was so much better. Can?t wait to practice more stitches and start my first project. I would definitely take another class soon!

I enjoyed the class. Lucky for me, I've taken another class previously with a different instructor so I had a basic idea of what to do, my friend had not and I think she was having a hard time. I feel like there were a few too many in the class for the instructor to give a lot of personal attention to each attendee. I appreciated the hands-on assistance that I did receive from the instructor and was finally able to do a single & double crochet - yay! I would have liked some info on how to read a pattern. I really liked the crochet hook provided and also appreciated the ability to take it plus the small yarn ball home to practice - my other class sent us home empty handed.

Hi, I'm Marie and fiber crafts are one of my passions. I knit and crochet, but I've also done macrame and bead work. When I'm not playing with yarn, I'm probably practicing Spanish, learning guitar or rock climbing at the local gym.

I have about 15 years of professional experience in training adults, so I know a bit about how adults learn and how to meet a learner where he/she is in their journey. You can probably tell that I really love learning new things! I truly believe that learning is where it's at. I look forward to meeting you and sharing a fun learning journey together sometime!

Marie Niesse is available for private bookings

Available most days with 48 hours' notice. Give me a call and let me know what your goals are! If I can help in any way I will definitely do so.

Please note that I will be unavailable Jun 19-25 and July 30-August 17th.

    Thank you!
